Day, who knows...

Tuesday, April 28, 2020

Hello everyone! I am still alive. I did pretty awful at the beginning of lockdown but I am now getting back into a groove with it all. We are all still healthy here and not caught this, even with hubby still working with the public daily. Charleston and I have not been hiking due to others not following social distancing so we have been sticking to our yard and car rides to get fresh air. He is now the biggest fan of car rides ever! We have started sprinting up and down the driveway to get some movement in and wear him out a bit. Also playing a ton of fetch.

I am now a plant lady. I am growing some stuff from seeds, picking up some plant cuttings from the farmers market curbside, and ordering plants of Etsy (I wish I had never discovered this as I am now checking daily to see what they have that I want). Hopefully, I can keep it all alive!

We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy out there!

The part of Sand Run Parkway that has the gates to block it off during heavy rains is closed until the lockdown is over. That way people can walk along either side of the roadway and be six feet apart. I live 3 houses up the hill from the intersection, so you could park here and walk down. emoticon Send me a private email if you want to do that. Otherwise you'd have to park in the lot at Revere and Sand Run, which is always packed, and then walk the path till you get to that stretch. If it would bother you to pass someone closer than 6 feet, it's not an option. You could always wear a mask while on that part, but I don't see others wearing them.

Stan Hywet is also open for walking Wednesday through Sunday until 3 in the afternoon. The tulips are in bloom. emoticon
