The week was going pretty well until I heard of two of my friend's parent's death from the virus. The first was is the husband of the girl who was murdered at the Catholic supply store almost 2 years ago. He has gone through so much. His dad had a massive stroke and has been fighting back for the last 8 months, and was getting better, they sent him home a month ago and a week and a half ago the he ran a fever and was taken to the hospital. They found that he had the virus. One of his children or the home nursing staff brought it in. So sad. The other is a friend from choir, who's father was in the nursing home. His mother has sever alzheimer and he quit his job to take care of her, and as she is functional, she doesn't know who he is. Call him her nurse. His father was worse and had to be put in the nursing home. And he was the only one who could control him. So he had fears of being in and out of the nursing home with multiple cases of the virus, and his dad passed yesterday. After hearing this last night, I realized this was Mother's day weekend, and Margaret wants to take flowers to our Mother's graves. How I miss my mom. But I am glad she isn't around to see how messed up our world is. On a light note. Emerson facetimed me last night and he was all worked up because his dad had Fox News on and he heard the announcer make a statement that "they were going to destroy President Trump". Isn't it amazing what the mind of a child picks up. I tried to explain off and he calmed down then him and Reagan sang Twinkle, Twinkle little star. It was so cute. So before I got off the tablet, I had to promise that we will be up to see them soon. He misses us so much. I find it so ironic how life dishes out what you need. While I had a heavy heart over the news of my friends parent's death, God new I needed to hear from the Grand kids. Let me go to bed on a more happy note. If I don't get back to blogging over the weekend. May all of you who still have your mothers, give them an extra hug, for me! Have a special day if you are a Mom. Definitely, going to be a different Mother's day for sure.

Bob, I am so very sorry for the loss of your two friends. It is more than a little sad. However, your grandchildren facetimed you at exactly the right time and you can plan your next visit with them and I hope it is very soon.
