Its pouring here and the fitness center is still closed. So no walking. I will go work my free weights, do a pilates video, and an aerobics video... thank you YouTube!
A brief update on the Spring Challenge. We are in our 7th week and I am just shy of meeting my 5% weight loss goal by one pound. One!
I'm very proud of this accomplishment, and in the back of my mind I am patting myself on the back: you've got this! Realistically, I know I can NOT let my guard down! I have to keep my eye on the greater goal of losing a total of 84 pounds. And for all sense and purpose, I am only one third of the way.
So yes, I celebrated after Saturday's weigh-in. I allowed myself that. But my nose has been to the grindstone ever since. I've got two more weigh-ins for the Spring Challenge. I'm hopeful I can bust my goal to smithereens!
Has anyone done a virtual 5k? I'm considering it for my June goal.
