Quarantine weight gain.

Saturday, May 30, 2020

It's been years since I've last posted. I have changed a little bit, mostly in the last few months. One thing I want to keep is my grey hair. I like it! For once thing, my hair is so healthy without all those dyes and chemicals.
One thing I DON'T want to keep is the extra 10 pounds I gained.
I work retail. I actually work in a high-end store that sells kitchen things. It's surprisingly physical and my responsibilities in that job are even more so, because I'm in charge of unloading pallets when they arrive. Let me tell you, lifting Le Creuset and small appliances for hours sure do make you buff, or "swole" as my kids say.
However, since it is a kitchen store, all of us employees are pretty accomplished cooks. It's part of our job to assist customers who both have great cooking skills or none at all. When this started we all were pleased to be able to do some of the cooking that we love. Our little store started a group text to show off our cooking prowess!
As you can probably guess, we are all showing off our larger bodies now!
Hopefully, my store will re-open soon, but I really need to drop these pounds so I can fit into my work pants! AND so I am not too out of shape to unload those pallets!
Wish me luck and fortitude, because here I go again!

I think I remember you from before - didn't you homeschool at one time? It's nice to see you back, although weight gain isn't the happiest of reasons. I am fighting weight gain right now, not from quarantine, but from depression and not enough to do. But I am sure we can both succeed. :-)

I'm 70 and I hate the grey hair I have. When we go back to "normal" I want to buy a wig from Godiva Secret Wigs as they have a lot of videos on Youtube.
I want to get my eyebrow "done" by a lady here in town who has being doing cosmetic "permanent makeup" for 25 yrs. Dr. Phil's wife, Robin had an "eyebrow transplant" so at 66 she really looks different. Of course, the perfectly beautiful white teeth help, LOL
I'd like to get dental implants from Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry from Dr. Arzate, if I can. Go to Youtube and check out the channel of JUNE PENNY. She went to him and got her teeth. She's 50 and she has hair loss.
My brother went to him and got his teeth, so that is how I know about Dr. Arzate, who practiced for 15 yrs. in Texas before going to Cancun. Dentist in St. Louis wanted $42,000 and he got it for $10,000 by Dr. Arzate, plus $4,000 for a 10 day vacation at Cancun.
