I have to say the shelter at home was a blessing for me because Tacy quit her job at the Natural History Museum, got a job with Orange County with an apartment 145 miles away from us in Costa Mesa. But the weekend she was to move the governor shut down the state and she could not move as planned, all plans out the window except she did start her new job but at our house. She has been here 12 weeks but Orange County HR are comfortable with her department opening, combo archaeology/palaeontology. There are 6 employees in 3 large offices within a huge warehouse. So this was her at her last day of working at home, MY home:
Special time we have had. I am going to miss this lovely young lady!
A proud but sad mama:
Even though Tacy has left the Museum she is still part of the family. The Museum is opening their Backyard tomorrow and Butterfly Pavilion to members but are not able to use volunteers to work the venue so all staff have been trained. Today was their final rehearsal and asked family and friends to be the guests to see how to get people thru the exhibit. You get sent from station to station every 5 minutes in groups of no more than 6.
So this was the first building I've walked into since March 21-just passing thru, no halls are open. It was kind of strange, I am not thrilled with things opening up.
