Boy the calming effects of a short vacation can burn off quickly. Went back to work yesterday and our helpdesk thought it was a Monday again. Many calls. I felt beat when I got off work. 55 calls in 6 hours! Went to our ACTS retreat meeting last night, and our retreat is called off for this year due to the Corona virus. With CDC regulations, too many aspects of the retreat would have to be eliminated, so we made the decision last night to postpone it for a year. This will free me up to get the first surgery asap. I see my md on Friday when I hope to get a referral to a different orthopedic surgeon. Then as soon as I can get on his schedule knee #1 will be done, and hopefully 6 months later I can get the other one done. They have deteriated even more and are even more painful. It is past time to get this done. Our time with the kids was so special. On Sunday, Emerson, who turned 5 on Friday, came to me and said, "Grandpa, I really wish we could go to church, but our church isn't open yet." So I opened my laptop and we watched Mass from my church! He sat so attentively, and answered all the prayers. Even knelt at the Consecration! I was so impressed. He has been to my church before and he told me that the lady who cantored doesn't do as good a job as I do! Melted my heart. Even Reagan made up to me this time. She is 2 going on 12! Amazing how much they learn and how early they are learning things. Their new house is two doors down from the pool, and Emerson told me that next time we come up, I have to take him swimming. I miss them so much already. Well, I am 10 minutes from having to start work, so I will see you all later! Have a great Thursday!

Glad to hear you are getting closer to have those knee taken care of. You really have waited long enough. Now is Brad and family still living in KC, just a different house. And I so wish they were closet to you and Margaret, my grandkids were always so far away and I don't really know them, and I know they don't know me either. But that is what happens when the parent are so far away. Shane the oldest even lived in Spain, Japan, and many foreign countries in his 29 years in the Navy. Sometimes the family went, but mostly they stayed in Fla. Even have a grandson that was born in Spain, and always call him my little Spaniard. lol

Emerson is learning well for a child his age. I know you felt so proud of him while the two of you were watching mass. I'm glad Reagan has finally made up to her very special Grandpa. Good luck with the Dr.
