A very very quick update

I just posted this on the community feed but I wanted to share it here as well and I also want to let you know that I'm now a team leader for TWO SparkTeams (I'll tell ya more soon!):
Recommitting to my healthy living plan today after going on hiatus when my fiancé's father died. Brent's memorial will be tomorrow and on Monday I'll be starting The Biggest Loser Boot Camp (it's a written guide that I picked up while grocery shopping).
I know that The Biggest Loser is a controversial show (now 😅) but I didn't when I purchased the book. It's filled with the same kind of messages that people share here on SparkPeople! Be kind to yourself. Work hard! Don't quit! Track your meals. Show up every day. Don't restrict food you like, learn to practice moderation, or make healthy alternatives. I mean the list goes on and on.
I'm very excited about this next step as I've also been starting this next phase of my journey with an accountability buddy a.k.a. accountabilabuddy! (I know it's a mouthful but it is fun to say.) We both have different goals but agreed that it would be nice to check in every few days and motivate each other, share recipes, share successes, find solutions for failures, and just be on each other's support team for the long haul.
Rn, I'm still practicing ALL of the same social distancing guidelines that started to be enacted in March and April in WA. I hope that y'all are staying safe and #stayinghome too. #COVID19 is not some flu bug or game to be playing around with, so I'd suggest taking precautions bc as the sun comes out ppl naturally want to spend more time together. I hope you get to do so (in the safest manner possible).
