My standard long walk workout is 4 miles. Many years ago I could walk it in anywhere from 58 minutes (at my best) to 60 minutes. Then I had to stop my daily walk because of a bad hip. I had hip replacement surgery 3 years ago and have been able to resume walking to workout.
My 4 miles has been taking anywhere from 65 to 68 minutes. Until today. Today I completed my walk in 1:00:59 seconds!! JUST under 61 minutes! I feel really good about that. Especially because I'm not getting any younger. LOL. But today is proof that I am getting stronger.
Going for the goal of 60 minutes!
