Week One of 5% Challenge

This week we’ve been challenged to maintaining a daily schedule. This is particularly challenging for me since I am retired, and then COVID hit. Sometimes I bounce out of bed, ready to spark the day on fire. Other days, it’s all I can do to drag myself from my coffee cup. I know that maintaining a routine is important, physically and spiritually. It should help me stay focused. I will use this blog as a place to “park” my schedule, and then refer to it all week.
6am: get up, make coffee, Spark, FB, check emails
7am: feed pups, clean poo
7:30am: go for walk
9am: breakfast, clean kitchen, plan dinner
10am: workout to YouTube video
12 noon: lunch
1pm: Household chore
5pm: watch evening news, cook dinner
6pm: dinner, clean kitchen
7pm: watch fave shows
Editing post: I did well w my routine last week, except for doing YouTube videos. I will cut myself some slack since DH had surgery a week ago and I’ve needed to help him w ADL. So I will keep this list, and do again this upcoming week.
