Brad was released from the hospital today. First time anyone left the hospital not in a wheelchair. Since his problems with sitting after the surgery he had, they thought it better that he walked out.
Here is a picture of the occasion. He also found there is compassion found in strangers. Their cab driver drove carefully and avoided all potholes possible. Brad had said he has just left the hospital and sitting hurts, and the driver asked what he had done, so Brad told him. The driver watched out for pot holes, and then refused payment when they reached the condo they are staying at. His follow-up meeting with the doctors is scheduled for next Monday, but he is hoping he can move it up to Friday, and be able to go home. Kati wanted to come home on Thursday, and return on Monday, but her Mom said that would be too much for Brad. So he is hopeful that he can move his appointment to Friday and maybe come home after that or on Saturday. That way if the travel is hard he will have a couple days to recover from the travel. Our visit with the grand kids was so much fun. It was tiring but we had a couple of gifts (as Grandma and Grandpa always do.) For Emerson it was a Walking and Talking Chewbaca from StarWars, and for Reagan it was a Paw Patrols Pillow/shower towel. They both loved their toys. Need to hit the sack but wanted to drop a line before I forgot.
