Brad's journey is not an easy road. Today got good news and bad news. The scan they did on Sunday shows that they got all the cancer from the rectum. Also his CEA went back down which proved it was the rectal cancer that was causing that to spike. They noticed a new met on one of his right ribs. Kati broke down crying and Brad just asked how do we deal with this. The doctor is concerned but doesn't think it is an active cancer. Also, as they expected the 4 weeks off chemo has seen some growth of the tumors in the liver. So they have schedule a bone scan for later in the week. They are on their way home finally as I write. Should get into K.C. by 9:00 p.m. He said that he will take this in stride as he has done all along. I feel so sorry for him. He was almost feeling on top of the world.Just have to keep up with the prayers. I thought it was all going too well. But we won't let it get us down. God is in control. And I just have to be patient.
