I am getting the hang of this moderation thing. I have spent the last week focused on allowing myself to spend more time in the evening winding down. I broke out my tattoo coloring book, a summer novel and my IPad. I sit in my old massage chair (still works) and relax.
I cut back on my Spark time. Not that I don't love it but, my life was working, working out and then scrambling to do a blog, check in with teams, update challenges, and read articles to get as many points as possible. I don't do anything halfway. I wasn't living!
This week I went on a walking date with my girlfriends followed by outdoor dining. I haven't done that since MARCH. I tried to watch Hamilton but, I was too busy multi-tasking so I need to try that again. I put on my chef-hat to try a few new recipes. I napped.
I continued to get in my workouts, drink lots of water and log my food. I am just trying to find more balance. This is a constant work in progress. I am worth it.
