Time to pick myself and the COVID 15 I acquired off the floor and get to work! I'm declaring Fall 2020 a time of renewal. As the trees shed their leaves, so shall I shed the extra pounds I picked up over the spring and summer!
Below are my goals for the next 12 weeks. I wrote them as a note to myself.
Dust off my Life S.A.V.E.R.S:
Silence (meditation) - get back to a daily practice, even 5 minutes will be an improvement.
Affirmations - crack open that journal each morning. This is not hard!
Visualization - I could do this from bed in the morning. When I wake, just take a few minutes to think of how I want the day to play out.
Exercise - Not having time is a lie! Pick the movement that pleases you and do it!
Reading - podcasts count. Just make sure it's something uplifting and thought-provoking
Scribing - restart the morning pages. When you rise, go straight to that pen and paper and let the ink flow. Purge all the thoughts onto the page!
20 net carbs. Use Carb Manager to track.
Journal about the experience. How does the macro balance make you feel?
30 minutes of intentional movement. This is not a huge commitment and more than what I'm doing now.
3x heavy weightlifting per week. This is how we do.
10 pushups a day. Anchor this tiny habit to brushing teeth.
Put the phone away. The one you love is right there in the room with you.
Set some boundaries on social media and the news you let in.
