Continuing My Journey

I'm basically exactly where I always am when I come back to Spark People. I'm breathing down 300's neck and trying to move away again. I was reading over my past blog entries and so much has happened in the last year let alone the last 5.

I moved to Cincinnati. Started a new job. Made new friends. Got a new boyfriend.

Then this year I bought a house, broke up with my boyfriend, dealt with the Covid-19 pandemic and am looking for a new job because my company is doing poorly.

So many changes. And my weight has not been my focus during all of them. I decided not to worry about it. That actually helped me to prioritize other things.

But my knees are hurting and my lower back is hurting and my clothes are snug. I know I need to change this thing that has loomed over me my whole adult life.

I'm hoping to begin by losing 20 pounds (5 down already) and ultimately to lose 40. Then I'll see where I will go from there.

    It's good to start with smaller goals! I'm still working towards my first 20 (over halfway there!) which is much less scary than the 55lbs left to my first major goal

    I’ve been battling 5 lb even tho I weigh 243 for a month now. I’ve started keto hoping it will help. Good luck.
