Thoughts for 9/10/2020

Today thinking of this day in 2011, I had gone to the doctor crying that I weighed 210 and needed help losing weight. He told me to go on line and the next day I did. I put in "diets" and the first one up was Spark People. I looked into it and joined 9/11/2011. It was a day to remember for me. Such happiness for me that morning turned into a night of sadness for so many. I will have mixed feelings about that day but will always remember it.
I have lost over 50 pounds with Spark people and the scale says today I am down 3 pounds more this week. I have found that tracking what I eat staying in my allotment for the day helps. I still eat what I want but have to work it in my budget of calories I can eat. I eat three meals a day and make them healthy with lean meats, veggies, fruit and whole wheat bread. I also have one cup 1% milk as a start to my day. I am also a big Starbucks fan but have low cal drinks like peach green tea lemonade a grande for 130. calories.
I make it a point to walk for at least 30 minutes each day and when I can't I use my peddler. Some days I do both for a total of 120 minutes of exercise a day.
