The Waiting Game
Tuesday, September 15, 2020
Tried to stay close to the windows today in case the little frig. showed up. Read a bunch watched the Fed Ex truck drop off some fabric at my house and the UPS truck drop off something next door and across the street but no big boxes showed up. I did do some laundry and read a bunch and even went to my guild meeting tonight. But that was my whole exciting day.
I did have fast food from Arby's for dinner but just a ham slider. I can't eat those big sandwiches anymore. And I did bring home a cherry turnover for morning.
1. I did not get lost driving on gravel roads to find the beautiful farm where we had our meeting.
2. someone turned summer back on for a couple of days
3. There is always tomorrow
Almost forgot to show you the top of the raffle quilt. I took it along to guild in case the lady was there that is going to quilt it. But she wasn't. So I had someone take a picture of it for me. It's so big it took two of us to hold it up and still you can't see the bottom border.
I think it is the biggest quilt I've ever made.
Tomorrow it's back to the wedding quilt and a couple of masks....and more waiting. But I think instead of sitting near the window I'll try and ignore the looking out part and do some sewing.
