Had a late afternoon realization that I want to share with all of you. After continuing to research what I could and should do to help my recovery along, I realized that now, in my recovery, the pains and stiffness I'm experiencing are not affiliated with my nerve injury. I now know that I can indeed do my yoga routine with the downward dog move, which I feared would irritate my injury more, only to find out that it is one of the best things for your back and spine. I will be careful though and I'll take things slow. In addition to finding that out, I also found that there are a series of yoga moves in my routine that are also geared to help with the back. So I am a happy camper and I can't wait to start adding my yoga routine to my workout/fitness logs.
