First day of fall 2020
Tuesday, September 22, 2020
So this just happened - today is the first day of fall - somehow I missed spring and summer (as did many of you) - it was all jumbled up into nothingness - each day the same because we just couldn't do anything.
That said I did begin to tackle my clutter and made some good headway - I still went to the grocery store 4 out of 7 days to get groceries (I like to buy ingredients the day of for dinner)
What I didn't do - I haven't exercised as the Y that I go to is completely closed (other Ys much farther away are semi open but nope not mine) - I haven't cross stitch but maybe 2 hours since March (one of my passions which looking back I've obviously been in a funk about this "sheltering" because I have time (mild depression over this whole thing maybe?) - and I haven't gone back to Boy Scouts
Speaking of Boy Scouts - I did have a meet up with them back in July - they still haven't had decent meetings yet and did want me to continue which I said when we have regular meetings I'd be back - but I haven't turned in to any of the online meetings and quite honestly the more I'm away from it the more I don't care (found out some other things from another leader about what's been going on with the new leader and his "style of leading" the may have a hand in my thinking I'm sure)
Fall - today is the first day - we've had some cool weather this past week so I'm guessing that will be the kick start into the leaves beginning to turn. I need to get myself in gear - especially if my Y doesn't open up til the first of the year - to go out to my local park and just walk (and not use the excuse I don't have time) Happy Fall everyone!
