The changes in my life since the GD/Hubby and two girls moved in have been amazing, distressing , frustrating and oh so much fun! Getting a shower is a major challenge, I swear every time I think SHOWER, another person has beat me to it. Yes I do get one..pleazze!!
The new washer has been more than broke in..with two girls..holy moly they go thru a lot of clothes! I keep walking around mumbling..I am so glad I had boys..but in truth sure am enjoying these girls! They breathe a lot of life into the house.
Molly had a great day ..there were rabbits everywhere and she was running from fence to fence just sure that one of them had to be headed her way,. Luckily for them not even one made that mistake. I messed up there was one brief moment when Molly was at full point with perfect posture! By the time I got the camera she was still on alert but that tail had curled up nearly over her back. Like most Labs once she is on a scent there is no reaching her. I have walked up to her and touched her back to have her jump since she had no idea I was there. She gets really totally focused!!
The Aspen are gold and red right now. As we sit on the deck we can see the contrast on the mountain sides across the valley. I would love to take off and just roam the hills . That may be a project tomorrow. I do not like to go to the mountains on the weekend anymore, so many people are now up there since it seems everything else is off limits or limited greatly. I am glad they are getting out and enjoying nature, just wish they were a bit more experienced in driving mountain roads. Some of those folks are scary!!
The Ravens are back..grrrrrrrrr!! Zack said he saw one coming out of the chicken house and the dern thing did not even say Thank You!! hee hee ! I did not mind so much when they were feeding babies..but dad gum...try someone elses flock !!
So dark so early..I learned years ago that I am a Sunshine person. Long dark days and nights lead to a dark and gloomy Me! But nature must rest to renew in the Spring. Winter is a great time to read, sip tea and work on my afgans. I might even start making quilt tops again.
The greenhouse project has not gotten back into gear yet but I am thinking as the days cool I will get out there and start getting the walls up. I am studying ways to use the pallets without having to break them down completely. It would mean half the work if it is something I can work into my plan. It will be interesting to see , then if it doesn't work..move on.
Now I reckon I will be dreaming of methods to get those dern pallets up !
Good night ya'al..you do know it is almost Friday..then comes Saturday...which means the
Fall 5% Challenge will be open for a practice week..then BOOM before you know it is off and running!! Just a lil excited to get this underway!!
