In a world that seems to continuously show us how ugly we humans can be, I can think of no better thoughts to right the ship.
“To those who see with loving eyes,
Life is beautiful.
To those who speak with tender voices,
Life is peaceful.
To those who help with gentle hands,
Life is full.
And to those who care with compassionate hearts,
Life is good beyond all measure.”
How do we put these words into practice?
Simply by changing how we approach life. When we can...
Find joy in little things and learn to truly cherish them...
Look for positivity and encouragement and show them to others...
Search for beauty in the world around us and share it with all we meet...
Speak kindness, hope, thoughtfulness, and truth...
"Every day we should hear at least one little song, read one good poem, see one exquisite picture, and, if possible, speak a few sensible words."
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
I wish you the following blessing, not just for you to have for yourself, but to happily share with others who journey through this life with you.
"May the sun
bring you new energy by day.
May the moon
softly restore you by night.
May the rain
wash away your worries.
May the breeze
blow new strength into your being.
May you walk gently through the world
and know its beauty all the days of your life."
~ Apache blessing
Bring positive energy to our world.
Help restore people’s faith in others.
Spread hope and kindness to wash away worry and doubt.
Encourage and strengthen others.
Walk gently through this life; be mindful of those around you.
Show people how beautiful this world can be through your attitude and way of being.
I had a strange infection that migrated very quickly and it was a good doctor/friend who sent me to an Emergency Room over 100 miles away. I had 3 different emergency surgeries in 5 days time and am still feeling quite fragile and awed that all the stars aligned to bring me to this doctor and facility where I was taken such good care of. I am thrilled to be home again snuggling with my dogs and eating good foods and enjoying the sunshine of a long autumn.
Counting my blessings and glad to be back online but limiting my time there to 'get busy living'!
