New Addition to the Family

Meet Lucy, the new addition to our family!
We adopted her from the Humane Society a couple of weeks ago. When we adopted her, they said her name was Puck. We didn't like that name for a girl, though, so we have changed her name to Lucy.
Lucy is FIV positive, which means her immune system is compromised. My mother and I both have compromised immune systems, so we thought it was meant to be. Lucy belonged with us. The vet told us that Lucy can still live a long and healthy life. We just can’t have another cat, we can’t let her outside, and we have to take her to the vet if there’s any sign of her being sick.
Lucy started off very timid, but she is getting used to us now. When we first got her, she spent a lot of time hiding under the bed. She doesn’t do that anymore. She roams around the house, and sits with us a good amount of time. We have given her some catnip mice, and she plays with those.
She is a very sweet cat, and we’re so glad to have her!
Sorry the pictures came out upside-down!
