The sun came out!

We have had rain all week so far but it was so nice this afternoon when the rain had stopped and the sun actually came out. Guess what I did......I headed out for a power walk. I only wore a long sleeve running shirt with a vest bit 15 minutes into the walk I had to unzip the vest and wrap it around my waist. IT was beautiful out there. Friday they call for 21C with full sun and I'm chomping at the bit to get out that day for a long distance power walk/run and hoping to get in 9 miles (15k) or farther.
I took the dogs out after dinner but wore a sweat shirt because it had cooled down as the sun was going down.
Once back I worked on strength training with my lower body and then all of a sudden the electricity went out. It was so black I couldn't see my hand in front of my face. The street lights were out and a good portion of our side of town was without electricity for 2 hours.
Just as hubby and I got into bed for an early night the power came back on so I figured I better get my BLOG done.
Apparently a transformer blew which seems to happen a couple times a year here. Glad it didn't happen tomorrow when the great debate is on. As Canadians we are following the U.S. elections very closely.
I'm looking forward to getting out for a lengthy power walk/run tomorrow but the rain is supposed to last until around 3:oo pm. I will head out then and hopefully the sun will see me and come out to join me.
