How much is too much

Thursday, October 22, 2020

The name calling is driving me crazy and it's not all at the national level. There is plenty of it going on locally and at the state level. Don't and do are the most confusing words they are all flashing around right now.

I worked on the baby quilt and made some changes today but also emptied the Chewey box and got them torn down. They come is such sturdy boxes but I can't keep them every month they are so big. We did not add to the snow pile today but we got some drizzle that helped clean off any of the cement surfaces. so that is good. We also saw some pretty funny colors in the sky. At one point this morning the sky was a awful yellow and I thought of that is not good then this evening some of the clouds seemed to reflecting something green. Just an odd weather day because the north shore got 10".

thank fulls
1. I live in SW MN so we seem to be getting lots less snow than up north
2. it isn't all that cold with it hanging right around freezing
3. so glad we don't have to care about who knows who

I will have to go into town tomorrow because if I wait until Mon. I'll run out of toilet paper. I never watch that close enough. Until I pull the 2nd to last roll out I sort of just ignore that stuff. So I've made a list......sure hope I can remember to take it with me. This is Bucks version of how to act when it's snowing.

I believe your correct about not getting as much snow than the north, they had some good amounts fall recently . Duluth area get the lake effect snow, so that gives them big piles of snow much of the winter.
Buck is sure relaxing, can't blame him, he doesn't want to get cold and wet, smart.
The sky you mentioned and Eileen ( Jamer ) did too, sounds rather eerie, like close to a sky for Halloween. Sorry just couldn't refrain from writing that last sentence. Oh when will those fires be done already for this year, seems like so many states this year having been having awful fires, with loss of lives, and homes, and suspect many animals---just so sad.
So I went for my doctor appointment this afternoon, no one was there. So decided just to drive by on the roads around there close to the hospital. Got back it was just about my appointment time, Went to the door, locked and dark, guess they weren't there today. Gave up and drove home, must be next week, but nobody informed me. That got me thinking, no one had called either to confirm my appointment. The girl last week said see you in 2 weeks, I said something about my appointment being todays date, that was it----so now I know the appointment was rescheduled for next week, and hope they call me the day before so I don't run there for nothing again.
We need to bring the dog in for her ( spa date ) tomorrow morning, sand we need to go get some groceries and I haven't started much of a list yet either--oh boy, fly be the seat of my pants --maybe I can get that done in the morning after dropping her off.

Buck looks like he has the right idea to hide from everything, snow, news and debate. The sky colors today sound interesting. I enjoy watching the sky and clouds. Nature can tell us so many things.

Heard the explanation for the sky on the news. When I got us the skies were tinted green. That is usually a sign of hail in the air. The cloud were so low the color radiated. Then all of a sudden turned white like very low clouds. Next minute the sky was orange. A beautiful sunset orange. What was happening here was the clouds being so low, the tree leaf colors reflected into them as well as the fires in CO. And then to show of colors was over only after a second wave of orange coming through. Might see the sun tomorrow afternoon, I hope!
