Count the plus's

I've been with Spark now for 12 weeks and slowly lost 12 pounds.I'm not happy with the small loss. The scales in the bathroom are getting used to my language, that goes from mild to strong.
2020 has been 'THAT' year. Stress, stress, stress. For all of us worldwide. The last few weeks have delivered blow after blow. And we have taken the knocks and said we can get through this. So today when I saw Id been trying for 12 weeks, I decided to count the plus's instead of the failures.
1. * I no longer like chocolate.* Actually I should probably be whispering that, so nobody is shocked. I didn't eat chocolate in any form for 11 weeks, then tried on square. Yuk. I can safely say that is a plus.
2. I haven't eaten a chips with or without onion dip in 12 weeks. Chips and dip where my saviour food whenever I was stressed. They may have saved my sanity but not my waistline.
3. We used to take a lunch to the harbour front and I'd sit in the car and read a book while Kev walked. I now walk with him. And enjoying the fresh air.
Am I patting myself on the back . I absolutely am. I've realized I need to add up my plus's and keep them in the forefront, because failures try to talk the loudest.

    Your weight loss is actually ideal. You’re losing about a pound per week. Losing weight at this rate increases your chances of keeping the weight off once you reach your goal. Good for you for working on the attitude! emoticon emoticon emoticon
