2020 Blessings....
Thursday, December 31, 2020
On this last day of 2020 , decided to end with what I have been blessed with during this very strange year.
# 1. I did lose 10 pounds this year & have kept them off. This is terrific as I have been see sawing with the same 5 pounds for a long time.
#2. The pandemic had my hubby having to work from home since end of March. This meant two things...First he needed to lose 20 pounds to even get his hip surgery - by eating my meal plans & not having (eating) all the extra food that was always at his jobsite - bagels, soft pretzels, cakes, etc...& counting calories on his fitbit, He did lose more those 20 pounds.
Second, we found out we will be able to retire in 2 years & have no trouble living together 24/7 since we've been doing it since the end of March. Get along great!
# 3. Tom was able to finally get his hip surgery in September & did well through it & was able to walk on the beach during Thanksgiving in South Carolina(which he hasn't been able to do in over 1 1/2 years - that was a very big achievement!) My stress & worry levels went down to very low as he got better.
#4. Most important, we have been blessed with none of our extended family, our families, & close friends did not get Covid 19 !!!! We are all very lucky.
With lots of gratitude, ending this year of 2020 with joy & goodness that came out of a new normal. Made the best of everything we had endured.
Welcome in 2021 with many more blessings to look forward to!!!
