January review

This is our assignment for the Aspire & Inspire sparkteam: Do you think January has been a successful month for you? If so, what did you do that made it successful? If not, what can you change to reach a higher level of success in the upcoming months?
My first goal for January was to exercise at least ten minutes every day. I did this 27 out of 31 days. My second goal was to get at least fifteen hundred fitness minutes for the month. I only got a little over 1300 fitness minutes in January. My third goal for the month was to do strength training at least three times a week. I met this goal. Finally, for January I signed up to do a 30-day yoga challenge with Yoga for Adriene, so my goal was to do yoga for 30 days. I only ended up doing about half of this.
So overall, I wasn’t successful in meeting all my goals, but I still accomplished a lot. My biggest problem is not exercising when I’m “not motivated” or I “don’t feel like it.” I need to push myself to do it anyway. I plan to work on this in February.
