Feb 25-Settling in for the evening

Thursday, February 25, 2021

I got the results on the sleep study..just need a lil postive pressure machine at night to supplement in case I don't breathe deeply enough. No loss of breath or apnea...only shallow breathing patterns which cause the heart rate to spike. Yep all systems pull together!! I kind of thought that would be the outcome so no big surprises there.
Then stopped to pick up a few items at Walmart. I swear they delight in rearranging and moving things so that you never ever know where anything is. A neighbor had called me to talk about a sick bird she had...sadly the chicken did not survive..guess it was just ready for chickie heaven. In the process I mentioned that I was at the store and she had me pick up a few things for her.
That is when I discovered that very few things were anywhere close to where they used to be! I believe they would scramble up the dairy section if it wasn't prohibitive to move those coolers!! It took much too long and way too many steps to complete the small shopping trip. My lil legs were feeling like rubber from going up and down the aisles and the frown lines between my brows were resembling horns above my glaring eyes . The feeling of relief when I picked up the last item and headed to the check stand was ridiculous!!
Home to find that the girls had taken over the kitchen and were making Orange Chicken..which is delish..but makes a mess like no other plus takes hours to complete. I just shrugged..fed my pups and retired to my room! We will see how the kitchen faired once the meal is complete!! Sara is learning to be a fairly good cook ..although her taste tends to run to the high dollar type meals!! Sigh..hope she can get a great career and afford a private cook!!
Birds in...and pups happy ..so the day is basically wrapping itself to an end.
Have a restful night and when you wake just peek and see how very close to the weekend we are!!

Glad to know that is not just our Walmart that can't remember where things go. Maybe the runs on various products during the pandemic make it too easy for a lazy stocker to drop and go. However, it could also be a marketing plan that forces more time per visit and thus more exposure for other products.

I totally relate to the rearranging at WalMart! One summer they rearranged BOTH the local WalMart AND the grocery store. I told DH it was like an intelligence test for locals. We were all wandering around, asking each other "Have you seen....." for MONTHS!

Very happy with the results of the sleep study! emoticon Oh, I get upset when they keep changing things around in the supermarket or anywhere. I know change is good but I do enjoy a certain routine in everything. TGIF, enjoy!

My local grocery store is doing the same thing, but is nowhere near as large as WalMart. The locals are griping bitterly about it, I just say "Chill, it'll be over with soon and you'll get used to the new normal". Hope that chicken was worth the mess, and hope the girls cleaned up the kitchen

Store re-arranging is an evil plot to make us spend more money. GRRRRR!

I figure it's about time for my grocery store to re-arrange since I've about got the layout figured out.

Oh there's a science of course behind moving everything around,,,, as people go down each aisle and have a list, if they know where the item is, they do NOT look around. So much LESS impulsive shopping. WINNER For the Consumer, NOT for the store. So the more they move stuff around, more shoppers are getting tired, frustrated, they WILL (overall not everyone) see something YUMMY and hey that's the COMFORT I DESERVE for having to go thru the looking!!

YUMMY On orange chicken!! I'll look up how to make the sauce healthy and than put it over chicken that's not fried etc. MAYBE do it instead in the air fryer.

    SLEEP WELL!! HUGS
