I weigh myself every day. I do think it depends on what your goals are and where you are in your plan. I am in maintenance and I find it necessary to keep close tabs on my weight. Fluctuations are frequent but normal. I look at my weight trend at the end of the month. Three months ago, I gained a little weight due to a health issue. I am now working to get back to my norm. My weight loss trend fluctuates daily, but I am seeing a steady decline in pounds as the weeks go by. When I was seriously overweight I weighed myself every week. I preferred to not frustrate myself when the scale would not cooperate. Back then I knew nothing about weight fluctuations. I could have weighed myself every day without frustration, but I did not know anything about how to use a weight loss trend plan. I am very glad I learned how to measure my weight and not be obsessed with the scale. Knowing about how to use a weight loss trend graph certainly makes a difference.
