I am sorry for your loss! If there is a senior center around you, maybe they offer opportunities for exercising and socializing. Or the public library. Or maybe start your own group! Also, keep track of your progress using stickers on a calendar. Give yourself a special sticker every time you eat, sleep, and exercise for better health. Then when you get so many stickers, give yourself a health-related treat. You can do this!

Hi I'm sorry for your lost I know you have heard that a million times now but just keep motivated and keep doing you no matter what and I hope you reach your goal weight that you want and do time pace yourself and just take your time God bless

Welcome to Sparkpeople so glad you have joined us.

Sorry to hear about your husband passing - do what is necessary to get yourself through this difficult stage of your life.

Consider going to your sparkpage and putting a little about your journey on it so that when we come to say hi we can read how you are doing

Also remember to participate as often as possible on all the team you have joined as that is where you will find encouragement and motivation

I'm a 66 year old female. I have been a fairly active person in the past. Now that I'm a recent widow (21 months) I have very little motivation to eat or do any strenuous activity. My therapist seems pleased with my progress regarding grieving . I have a history of depression, hence the therapist. I sold my old house 4 months ago which involved a lot of meeting code enforcement requirements for yard, roof etc. I know that I need to eat , exercise, and sleep better and I'm hoping this site will inspire me.
