Wishing you speedy and good healing! What a great time to connect with SparkPeople.
I stayed with Spark People through rotator cuff surgery which took six months to heal. Really helped me to find movement I could do as well as encouragement along the way.
I've also been on a lifelong weightloss journey. Through Spark, I have revised that - now I'm on a "living a healthful life one day at a time" journey. I'd still like to be slimmer and am happy when I am, but my priority is to make the best choice I can in the moment and be loving to myself throughout.
Please feel free to friend me if you like. No matter what, finding friends and teams that you like here is a great boost for success. I wish you a great and healthful journey.

Consider going to your sparkpage and putting on it a little about yourself and your journey - that way when we come to say hi we can read how you are doing
Also remember to participate as often as possible on all the groups you have joined as that is where the encouragement and motivation come from
A good place to start is by using the trackers that Sparkpeople provide - just go to the top of this page where you will see 'my trackers' click on that and you will find the food and exercise tracker.
Check out the tabs at the top of this page such as "My Trackers", "Community", "Learn", etc and you'll be well on your way and find plenty to do. Stay active and stay in touch to succeed. Good luck with your new goals and welcome to SparkPeople!

Hey all. My name is Rachel. I'm new here. I'm a single mom, a nurse, and I'm in grad school. I just had knee realignment surgery last month so I am still dealing with PT. I've been on a weight loss journey for a long time but I can never stick to it. I'm ready to change my life and ready to stick with a new lifestyle. I would love to meet others and hear about your successes (or failures) and make new friends and a support system!
