Hello!
It’s great to meet you!! How is the weather in West Virginia this week?
Here the temps are in the 70’s to low 80’s.
Visit my profile page as an example ( by clicking on my name, “ Luvsclassics).
I suggest you use the “ My trackers” 2nd from the top, everyday, click on nutrition,
You can plan ahead looking at recipes section in the 7 th section at the top of Spark People called “ recipes”.
There are “ exercise” videos on Spark People. Check the “ help” icon” at the very top next to your log in name.
Plan to get outside a walk every morning, a minimum of ten minutes. Start out slow and work up to what you feel comfortable. I like to take photos with my camera 📷 as I walk, of nature, whatever I see. Once/ week, I drive to a park to exercise, a change of scenery is a motivator.

Hello and Welcome!

It's good to set goals for yourself but it's ok to start with small goals. If 50 is too overwhelming, shoot for 10 and then another 10 after that.
You will find lots of support here. Members are knowledgeable, helpful and encouraging. Take advantage of all the tools here. The Nutrition and Fitness trackers are so useful.
Be active on site by reading blogs, articles and joining Spark Teams. You will be on your way in no time.

Just thought I would drop in an introduce my self. and say Hi to everyone. I am 51, I have set my first goal of 50 pounds then I will set my next when I reach my first. But I find it to over whelming to think I need 150 pounds to loose a friend told me to take it slow and suggested 50 pounds at a time and to join Spark so here I am.
