There's a lot to discuss on the pros and cons of being alone, but one thing that's certain is the opportunity it offers to concentrate on personal fitness and nutrition. It gives you the freedom to eat what *you* want/need to eat and participate in the activities that *you* want to engage in. So grab all the gusto and concentrate on you. You already know how much easier the SparkPeople toolbox makes the process, so best of luck with your goals and welcome back to stay!

Hi, My name is Brenda and I was a previous Sparkperson about 14 years ago and really enjoyed the community then. Life is changing rapidly for me and I need to keep up by getting in shape. Something other than "round". I have started an empty-nester phase of life and being single feel it's time to take care of me.
