Welcome back to Sparkpeople so glad you have returned.

I see you are from Victoria BC - I am also from BC

Suggestions

(1) make use of the food and exercise tracker as they really help to stay on track

(2) participate as often as possible on all the groups you have joined as that is where you will find encouragement and motivation

I think it is magic! I already feel more focused and excited to do this! I think it helps logging on everyday.

I am trying to be brutally honest with myself, track everything, accept that I will have bad days and not to get to down about them. I have updated my tracker to my heaviest weight as I have lost that much, I am very close to loosing 100lbs. Its time to rip this up!

I try to keep my carbs under 300.

I'm old school, calories in, calories out. But what's funny to me is how we all flock back to SparkPeople when we need to get right for one reason or another, regardless of our specific eating plans. Maybe it's magic?

In any case, congrats on your loss and may you continue to find success. Shake it up and maybe try a new routine. Intermittent fasting with your Paleo? New exercises. I got mine rolling again by disconnecting by fitness tracker from my nutrition tracker. Sometimes it's hard to predict what will work. Good luck and welcome back!

Hello, my name is Lisa. I have been on and off of sparkpeople for the last 10 years. I have recently lost 65lbs ( was 70 but gained a bit back) I have used the trackers the entire time but think getting back into the community will help push past my plateau and just keep me accountable. I have been killing it at the gym, which was always my biggest struggle, I go 5 days a week for a good hour now, however, my food which I used to nail is suffering and is the main cause of me flip flopping. Its time for me to tidy this all up and get rid of the next 70lbs! Its very hard to have people in your life who understand this part of my journey, so I am looking for spark friends as well to chit chat and help support each others goals. I believe everyone has to find what works for them, for me, I try to eat as close to paleo as possible, keeping my carbs in the range of about 80 per day. I started this week and fell right on my face as I deal with some personal struggles about my mom. But its time to clean this up. Looking forward to being part of this wonderful community again! feel free to send me a PM if you care to chat!
