I try to only get on the scale once a week. But I do check from time to time if I am feeling suspicious of weight gain or loss.

Life would be much more upbeat if there was just background music no matter when or where you were doing things.

It would also be more fun if people didn't look at you funny when you danced to the music down the sidewalk ha ha~

Only once a month. This is the recommendation that I received when I started FA (Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous). Weighing only on the first of each month has worked really well for me. The focus has shifted away from the fluctuating number on a scale and towards keeping up my new healthy habits.

As long as I stay committed to eating measured, healthy, natural foods, I will see my weight go down each time I weigh in.

I've found that what works best for me long term is a couple of times a week. I actually get better feed back from how my clothes fit (and when they get too big) than from the scale.

bi-weekly ~~usually Saturday or Sunday {Saturdays are weigh-ins for the challenges} and then Tue. or Wed. so I can keep TRACK of how I am doing and what I need to eat ~like more protein or do ST ~Strength training or running for that day.
I have lost 14 lbs. so far and only -5.8 lbs. to go for me to have a healthy weight and BMI. I lost 3 lbs. on SP,then joined the 2018 5% Summer Challenge and lost 5% plus extra = - 11 lbs.!!! Gained a little back during the Interim [between challenges]. Now , I am on the 5% Fall Challenge and have lost- 1.6 lbs. so far for 3 weeks.

I now only get on the scale one a month. My weight loss stalled for so long that I was getting discouraged at seeing the same number, or close to it every week. So I decided to seek NSV’s that showed my progress, away from the scale. This method was so successful for me that I decided to make monthly weigh ins my norm, for now. I am 23 lbs always from my goal and I don’t want to get frustrated by a number.




Being positive is a choice. My Mantra: “Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day." Each morning seek the positive and you will have a good day. Always remember, “Your only competition is YOU.”

About once a week. In the morning when I get up. After I urinate. Then I step on the cold scale in my basement, naked. Too much info? Not enough?

Twice per week; once at home on Saturdays and again at Weight Watchers meeting (usually on Fridays). That way, I can compare first morning before showering and dressing and later in the day, fully clothed and hydrated.

We CAN do this; so let's GO!
