I use paper and pencil to track food all the time as I am unable to access spark people at my work computer.

When I am on vacation I carry a small book in my purse and record my meal information. Them when I am back at my iPad or computer I enter it onto the site. I don’t have a ‘smart’ phone either. I don’t carry my iPad when I am out and about on vacation so the paper tracking works for me.

Depending on how long you are gone, allot yourself 1-2 hours to enter all that information. It took longer than I thought it would when I came back into town.

what I do is buy a notebook that is small enough to fit in my purse and write down the foods I eat while I am out of town. Most hotels have free wi-fi and you can look up food information on their computer.

Absolutely, you can track your food and fitness when you return. Near the top of each tracker, there are backwards and forwards arrows on either side of the date. You can click on the backwards arrow to go back one day at a time, or click on the small calendar there and then click on the date in the calendar that you want to track for.

I hope this helps and have a good trip!

I will be out of town for 5 days. I don't have a smart phone. I use my computer to track food & fitness at home, but won't be able to while gone. Can I add it when I get back? I'll be writing down everything and keeping track that way. I won't even be able to get emails either. . .I'm the last hold out in the world who doesn't have a smart phone!
