I have a few friends who were emotional eaters.
Every one of them sought professional help, which helped them break the cycle.

Hi - I've never been an emotional eater so can't speak from experience, however I CAN share some articles with you, which will hopefully resonate and get you going in the right direction.

If you still have problems, I would strongly suggest that you have a good talk with your Dr and ask for a referral to a Therapist who deals with these types of issues.

Good luck,

Well once again - I am allowing my feelings and emotions control how I eat. I do wish I came with a "OFF" switch - then I could just flip the switch and carry on. But I am human. I need to control what I can and let the rest go! This is so much easier said then done. I do think I am being more honest with myself to be more aware of these things. Now I just need to figure out how to be " in control " and not let them "control me". Because I AM an EMOTIONAL eater- I am a work in progress and I need to continue to visualize "turning off the switch". What do you do???

Slow and steady wins the race. One step at a time equals big losses in the long run. Remember you are doing this for yourself.
