I am a zipper sister! It was 14 years last December. I had complications and a long recovery but I am doing well. I ride my horse and show him western dressage. I achieved a reserve championship in my state club at my level. I will be 73 in May.

btw, I've been a member for a very long time but apparently not serious about losing weight. I have started drinking more water...a lot of water...and I'm finding a link between water and cardiac symptoms and hunger. I might be on to something here.

I have been part of the Sparks family for a while, like most off and on this journey to a healthy lifestyle!

After a restart towards my healthier lifestyle goals ... I suffered a 'widow maker'heart attack in July of last year ( 2019) .... after an emergency stent procedure ( which they didn't expect me to make through) scheduled me for triple heart in August (2019).

I'm doing well and making good progress thanks to prayer and amazing support from medical team, cardiac rehab, friends and family.

I would love to hear from and get together with other 'Zipper sisters' who have had heart bypass surgery and are on the journey to recovery and an active LIFE do-over.

I started a new Spark Team with this goal in mind and would love help in passing the word! If you or anyone you know has had Heart By Pass surgery ( CABG) and would like to team up in reclaiming health and an active lifestyle, visit my spark page and or this new team option!

Here's to enjoying life to the fullest!
