JERF, glad you at least got some ideas. I know you eat really well. I mostly suggested the podcast in the event there was some information you hadn't considered. I hope you figure something out that helps!

It may be less an issue of reducing estrogen and more about increasing progesterone. About two years ago I did a lot of research on this topic, and progesterone seems to be the forgotten female hormone.

Thanks everyone for the links and well wishes! I have read the articles and have listened to the podcast.

I eat quite clean already and the only thing I can think to do is to cut back on strenuous exercise and endurance training for a bit and see if it helps to limit stress/cortisol levels.

Keep the suggestions coming!

Here is a link to a podcast a local Registered Dietitian group did recently. It is about high estrogen. It might have some ideas for you.

Sending you hugs, and a couple links, altho' I'm sure you will already be aware of this information:

None of my reading has shown anything about it being helped by dietary changes, just a form of contraception, pain relief, heat pad, or surgery.

Good luck,

Does anyone have experience with Estrogen Dominance? Is there anything you’ve done diet/lifestyle wise to help even out your hormones?

I’ve been having a lot of back pain related to my recently diagnosed adenmyosis and a cyst on my ovary. It all stems from high estrogen levels.

Any advice/links are appreciated.
