
Howdy from the DFW area of Texas!
I am so glad that I found a recipe forum for healthy dishes and meals on SP. I have come a long way in my journey (Please read my spark page), but have more to accomplish. Many, many years ago, I was on WW, but like everything else then, I didn't stick with it. My journey this time began March 2009 and I have been on it ever since. My style has been portion control only, and watch fat and sodium. Now the doctors have put me on a new medicine for extremity tremors which the main side effect is weight gain....45-80 lbs per year and while they were at it, gave me even more weight to lose for a goal!

Go figure! It is the last resort medicine for me now. It is really helping me tremendously, but I am on a daily "dread and fear" regarding the weight issue. I am disabled with numerous health issues which includes minimal to no exercising. I do try to walk

to the end of my driveway and back and now since my husband bought me some new tennis shoes ( I haven't been able to wear any, nor put them on myself since the 80's.....please read my blog about tennis shoes) I am really excited about getting out and using them.
Well, all of this to say is, I'm beginning WW the old Core plan and still utilize my portion control and fat and sodium watching. I think this will be a winner for me.
