That's what I did with the coconut milk when I made the hemp oil soap. It worked really well. it's one of my favorite batches.

If you are making it from scratch....remember to freeze the milk before adding lye solutions so it's not scorched!

Hello everyone. Since I just became co-leader I thought I better actually introduce myself. I'm a 52 year old, single professional petsitter in a little town in northern California who has recently taken up soapmaking. I take care of my mother and grandmother and wanted something fun to do that could possibly turn I into a second business to supplement my petsitting. My name is Pam, but I go by Pamnangel on most forums. On Twitter I'm @AuntiePams.
I've been making cold process soaps for a few months now. It's been a lot of fun trying different oils and seeing the results. (The hemp oil bars are beautiful. They look like they're cut from jade.) I'm looking forward to trying my hand at goat milk soaps. I've done some coconut milk soaps. Goats milk seems like the logical progression.
While I am new to soapmaking I am happy to try and help however I can. If I don't know an answer (and I probably won't) I'll do my best to find someone who does.
Happy soaping!
