Hi, my name is Kendra. I am twenty-six years old and have been struggling with my weight since I was twelve. I am married to my husband for over five years and we have two amazing children, Ginny who is three and Miles who is one years old, they keep us on our toes. I just started back in trying to lose weight and I am doing it for myself this time. I do have two little ones who love for me to take them on walks so that helps keep me from veg out. I am 244lbs right now and I really want to at least get down to 150lbs by next July. It's going to be a lot of work but I know I can do it.

Hello! This is not my first time on SparkPeople, but I am new to this group! I first joined SparkPeople in January 2011, and from that point until September 2012 I lost 70 pounds. I could have lost more, but for 9 of those months I was pregnant! Unfortunately, I fell back into old bad habits and issues with anxiety and depression, and all the weight came back. Over the past several months, I have been extremely uncomfortable with my current weight, yet I keep making excuses. Well, no more!
I am here to start fresh! Please feel free to add me as a friend! I find having friends on here really helps! Encouragement and maybe even a healthy dose of "If they can, I can!" can go a long way!

Hello to all out there. I want to start by saying that my name is Felicia and I am 26 years old. About a little over 7 months ago I had become a mother for the first time. I had lost around almost 50 lbs previous to finding out I was pregnant. Needless to say I had gained 40 lbs of that back while I was pregnant. After I had my daughter I had lost 20 of those pounds. But I have found out that since I have stopped with my daily walking to take on the "easier" life of staying home and being with my daughter, I have gained almost all I have lost back. I am wanting to get motivated once more and finally loose the 100+ lbs that I need to to be at my goal. So here I am getting ready to share my Back To Health journey with you all.

I work mostly from home, which has resulted in quite a bit of weight gain and inactivity, but I have steadily gained 120 pounds over the last 4 years for a variety of reasons. Well I am 24 going to be 25 in Sept, I am happily married to my high school sweet heart, and I have two of the most beautiful girls you can imagine. Hello Everyone!

Beth here !
Im 28 and married for 3 years, hoping kids are in our near future! My and my Cubbie at work joined sparks to help better our weight loss goals! I have about 150lbs total that I want to loose but I have broken my goals in to chucks! I want to be at least 50lbs down by the end of this year and 100lbs down by my 4th wedding anniversary in June of 2015 ! This would also help with looking great in a another close friends wedding in June as well ! I know its going to be a long road, but I hoping with all y'all here and my supports at work and home I will find all the motivation I need and then some ! Here's to falling off my exercise ball a few more times in the name of Healthier living ... ( did I mention I'm Polish ??)

Hello All!

My name is Carolyn
I'm 27 and recently engaged, of which my weight loss goals have stemmed. Who doesn't want to look great on their wedding day! On the other hand I really do just want a healthier lifestyle. I've been a heavy person all my life with not many downs compared to ups in weight.
My last attempt at dieting failed when I realize I was literally starving myself, eating less then 800 calories per day. Never again will I fall for that little trick. Did I lose 40lbs in 4 months sure did, but it all came back plus some the moment I went back to eating real food due to not being able to afford the program.
I'm currently working with an exercise program call DDP Yoga, they have a great community of supporters just like this one. I love the low impact routines and the upbeat no excuses demeanor of the instructor DDP (professional wrestler).

I joined Spark People for the little extra support and a way to track the foodstuffs I put into my body.

My goal is to be in a size 14-18 dress by the time I need to order my wedding gown. I know it seems steep, but I'm very determined.

Good morning, everyone! My name is Brandy. I'm 28 years old and live in Kentucky.
I have been on my weight loss journey for over a year and, at one point, had lost 50+ pounds. I am an avid runner and completed my first half marathon in April of this year.
While I still run regularly, I have gotten out of control with my eating habits and have gained back some of the weight. I would like to get back on track and see another 50 pounds of loss before my 30th birthday in July of next year.

Hi everyone! I just moved to Alberta from Ontario, and decided it is time to get my life together. hello all, I'm 25 and recently graduated college and pretty much through being big, over the years I've slowly gained weight and I'm done with it. Hey guys I'm Rae, 27. I was on Spark back in 2010 and now on again. I WILL lose 110 pounds by July 1, 2014. It's going to be INCREDIBLE wearing a bikini to the 4th of July party! Hello all, i am 29 and have struggled with weight problems my entire life. Coming from a Hispanic home our foods are very unhealthy and veggies were not a staple meal for us. Currently i am in a great relationship with a very special person that has inspired me to make some changed for my self. I am now at 337 and my highest was 375, recently for my partners health we started juicing and i have been having a harder time keeping up with the changes.

I am hoping this time around i can actually stick to my goals and that i can meet others that can help keeping me in track to get to my goal of losing 137 lbs

Hello, My name is Jess I'm 24, I lost 50lb once for my wedding 5 years ago which put my weight at 150 (sadly I thought I was still fat then) just by changing my diet. Now after 5 years, graduating collage, major surgery, new job, moving to a big city, I gain the 50lbs back.....plus another 50lbs. I'm currently at 251lbs. Hello everyone! I'm a 29 year old woman who has been married for 10 years. We have been blessed with 2 children, a 9 year old son and a 1 year old daughter. I've always been on the "chunky" side, but after giving birth to my son, I gained a lot of weight. It wasn't until after giving birth to my daughter that I weighed my heaviest...220 lbs. I was shocked that I had allowed myself to get like this. Shocked and disgusted. I've now lost 15 lbs, but I know that I have a very long road ahead of me. Can't wait to meet you all!

Hello, my name is Bonnie and I am 25. I'm living with family and my "bedroom" is in the corner of the living room. I have a very high level of stress and anxiety due to this and my stepdad's disabilities as well as my mom's hearing loss and recent back injuries. This is a large part of what contributed to my recent weight gain of 20 pounds in the past year and a half. I need to lose weight and feel better about myself, and hopefully lower my stress and anxiety through exercise. My first goal is 10 pounds because I know I can reach it and it will allow me to get started. Ultimately, I would like to be 170-180 pounds, which means I need to lose at least 130 pounds.

Well I'm on the older end here, at 29.. emoticon but it still counts! I'm Pia, and due to pain I, sadly, leave a pretty sedentary life.. but I'm working on it. My goal weight is pretty flexible, in that I don't really have one.. I just want to keep losing until I feel/look better. At this point, that's at least 165lbs away. But I'll get there.

well my name is Jess I am from Canada I am at my heaviest and its 325 lb my goal is 175. I am totally new to spark I'm hoping it works for me.
