Welcome to the team, it's wonderful to have you on board with us. What a great job, losing 15 pounds, keep up the great work. Yep, acid reflux can make it challenging, but there are a lot of things you can read on here that can help you with that. Check it out on a search here, and you'll find lots of things to read up on. Also use the nutrition area, and follow that, that's helped me a LOT.

Sounds like you have it already under control, but a little more never hurts. What a hero, working with adults with special needs, My nephew has special needs, and I am the President/Co-Founder of an organization which built a playground (back in 1993) for people with special needs and at that time it was the largest accessible playground and most accessible (largest was 40% and was in Israel, ours brought it up to 80-100%).

You'll fit right in, there are people here with a lot of different talents; and you are more than welcome if you'd like to start a thread to discuss anything.

Enjoy yourself, explore, and we're here if you have questions. Again, welcome, it's great to have you as part of the WI team!

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am 51 years old and have about 50 pounds to lose to get to my goal weight. I have already lost 15 doing 16:8 intermittent fasting but need to be a little more aware of what I eat and my exercise routine. I also have acid reflux which made the initial stages of 16:8 somewhat challenging but I think I have worked out how to manage that fairly well.

Other than that, I am the mother of one. I work with adults with disabilities and am an artist. I enjoy reading, hiking, gardening and just being outdoors. (hand shakes all around)
