I'm Jen, and I've been Sparking on and off for five years. I looked back at my FitBit and I gained weight in the past year, but am back where I was last year. I'm looking to make some changes that I will stick with. So far so good with that, as I'm measuring food now, which helps immensely. I have about 90 pounds to lose, and since the middle of November I'm down six pounds. It's a start!

I'm a mom who works too many hours, so finding time for meal planning is one of my main focuses. My kiddo is 9 and can't do dairy, so that's an additional challenge. "Cream of____" soup is off the menu, even if if's low fat/sodium. The plus side of that restriction for me is that we no longer have cheese in the house, which was a huge source of temptation for me!

I struggle to get enough exercise. I've discovered the joys of watching tv while walking in place at least, which helps me get in steps.

For relaxation, I read. My Goodreads account that has a to-read list that is just a little out of control, but that doesn't stop me from adding to it pretty much daily. If you're also a reader, we can swap recommendations. :)
