It was my husband but I've been separated now for 3 months. I'm putting my broken pieces back together.

My obstacle is staying motivated, because when setting weightloss goals and I dont achieve them I get discouraged. So now I am just working on excersing 3 times a week.

2 -What's your favorite strength exercise(s)? Bicycle Crunches. I'm not good at them but I try hard!

3 -What's your favorite aerobic exercise(s)? Dancing and swimming but it dries out my hair.

6 -What's your favorite meat, fruit, vegetable and dessert? Shrimp, Peaches, Corn, Cheesecake (chocolate turtle)

7 -How do you wear your hair(natural, dyed, relaxed, texturized)? Provide as much info as you feel comfortable. TEXLAX! Which is using a relaxer and just not letting it go completely straight. I've done my own relaxers for years but never tried a texturizer so not willing to risk a screw up if I do it incorrectly but the end result is the same I'm told. I'm kind of a fanatic about my hair lately. Too many times it has broken off, or fallen out and I'd stick a weave up there. I spent alotof time learning about hair. how it grows. why it breaks. what product ingredients do what. A self made hair guru. Now I plan to growing my hair to mid back length to prove it. Currently just barely brushing my shoulder- which is about 3 inches longer than it ever was growing up! So I get to learn about styling curly hair so I can consider going natural and I get to enjoy actually having hair to put in a ponytail. :-)

8 -How do you motivate yourself? I watch alot of shows that deal with obesity. Seeing where my path could lead me if I refuse to turn back is both motivation and scare tactic!

9 -How do you reward yourself? Health and Beauty Products. Product Junkie!

10-What do you perceive as an obstacle to achieving your goal(s)? MY FAMILY. They like too much junk food. The want too many carbs. Prefer the fattier cuts of meat. If I don't buy these things they riot. They eat healthy stuff too like broccoli and fresh fruits. But it is hard to make the right choice in the face of temptation sometimes. How do you tell your man "STOP BRINGING BREAKFAST TO ME IN BED AND TREATING ME LIKE A PRINCESS!!!!" but he wants to make me fresh baked biscuits with sausage and eggs and gravy. Just a small plate with one biscuit, one sausage pattie and one fried egg and 1/4c of gravy is likely 500 calories. About double what I should/would eat if I just had my oatmeal.

10-What do you perceive as an obstacle to achieving your goal(s)?My biggest obstacle is me. i have a healing torn plantar fascia and can only swim for exercise. i need to go everyday but i am lucky to make it 3 times a week.. It's that bathing suit thing....

3 -What's your favorite aerobic exercise(s)? Walking is my favorite, even though I do dance aerobic dvds as well.

4 -What's your favorite color? Definitely Blue.

5 -My top 3 hobbies include? Playing with my 1 yr old, singing, and learning new hairstyles for natural hair.

6 -What's your favorite meat, fruit, vegetable and dessert? I love chicken, grapes, green beans, and cake... ( but I cant eat cake like I used to :( )

7 -How do you wear your hair(natural, dyed, relaxed, texturized)? Provide as much info as you feel comfortable. I am in the process of going natural. I have not had a relaxer since February of last year and getting a handle on the new texture of my hair. Mostly I wear braided styles to resist the urge to over- straighten my hair.

8 -How do you motivate yourself? Right now my daughter and my boyfriend provide motivation for me. As I watch them run around and play it makes me feel like I never want to be n the sideline watching, I want to get in on the action!

9 -How do you reward yourself? I am rewarding myself with new clothes for every short milestone, and when I reach my goal I plan to go an a vacation.

10-What do you perceive as an obstacle to achieving your goal(s)? My biggest obstacle is my procrastination. But my boyfriend pushes me to get up and workout, and sometimes he works out with me which makes my workout more fun.

8 -How do you motivate yourself? I keep saying that I'm gonna make the vision collage/manifestation board....I just recognize negative self talk and then stop myself.

9 -How do you reward yourself? Shopping.

Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.
