Iím doing it so far! Iíve gotten further than I got yesterday. Seriously, thanks for being here for me. I was ready to give in, but thought Iíd check in here and your posts gave me a boost.

Kari, thanks for the tip. Iíve been doing one 8 oz. whenever I needed it, but I didnít think about how often I should be drinking it. Every 2-2.5 hours sounds perfect and I should be able to get at least 8 glasses in each day. I have my little station setup in the kitchen so itís easy to just squeeze the lemons and measure everything, so that Iím not sitting in there tempting myself for too long. :)

Sherry, EXACTLY! Because when I canít have something, it makes me want it more! I had to run into the grocery store for more maple syrup today and that was a challenge! Everything I looked at, my mind said to grab it even though I wasnít even hungry. I did good though got the syrup and got out of there. I probably should of grabbed a couple bottles so I donít have to go back. Let us know if you start a cleanse! Weíll be here for ya!

Also, I donít use these forums much. Do I just continue to post under here, or should I start a new thread under the ďGeneral Team DiscussionĒ? I think Iím seriously going to need to post at least once a day for progress just too keep up with motivation.

-Jill

def a mind set!! it was never b/c i was hungry that i'd fail..it was the simple fact that i took somethings away that i ultimately wanted and my mind retaliated, lol. keep trying!! i'm thinking of starting another in a few days. its a great idea to plan a busy schedule....still cheering you on!!

I don't know if this would help you, but I drink lemonade all day. I make 8-8 oz drinks in the morning and break up the day into equal sections. So then I drink an entire 8 oz bottle every 2-2.5 hours. It keeps me much fuller and I know exactly when my next one is coming. It works for me. The first time I did the cleanse, I just made like 4 16 oz bottles and drank some whenever I felt like it, with no rhyme or reason to it. I was miserable. I've done this strategy since then and it's been much better.

Well, that lasted all of half a day for me! LOL! Man, it really is a total mind set. I need a do over. I don't know what happened, but last night I just couldn't take it anymore. I wasn't even hungry. I feel like it was self sabotage! Well, today is a new day and I'm starting again! I think the key is to keep busy. I noticed that I only began to think about food and become obsessed with eating something when I was just sitting around watching tv. Well, today I have a whole list of things to do, so hopefully I can get through it. Just one day at a time. If I can get past just one day, I think it will help build my confidence to continue on!

Good luck! I find that day 4 is the hardest for me. If I can get past that, I can make it all 10 days.

Hello,

It's been a long time since I've been on Spark People. I recently started looking into the MC at themastercleanse.org and started doing my ease in days. I was doing really well, but then of course my husband had a three day weekend and we went out to eat! Threw me completely off. Since then, I've been having trouble easing in again and decided today, to heck with it, I'm just going to start the cleanse! So, today is day 1 for me. I'm nervous as I've never done this before and thought I'd look to Spark People for some support! Glad to find this group! I plan to check in every day. I think this will help emotionally keep me strong since I will feel like I am accountable to someone.
