Welcome Lammey, Martha and Awsome!

Lammey - I moved to Lubbock from the Dallas area a little over a year ago. My company where I had worked for over 19 years sent my job overseas and I was released in Dec. '07. I still have a house in Rowlett that I hope to finally get empty soon and put up for sale! lol

Awsome - I moved to Dallas from Mobile. I lived there for almost 8 years. Back then I was in my 20's and tended to party a lot. I worked at Kerr McGee in Theodore then went to Chevron in Pascagoula, MS before being put on LOA and going back to school and getting an AS in electronics technology and moving to Dallas.

Martha - Having lived in Mobile I would go to Pensacola quite often. Back then I was never home and always running somewhere on my days off!

Welcome to all of you from old stomping grounds of mine! It's really kind of strange all of you would join up from places from my past in such a short span of time!

Come and join us in the monthly chat topic. It tends to be quiet in here but I'm hoping to get everyone chatting and helping each other out one of these days!

I'm also new again to Spark People. Also lost my old username. I'm 32 and just finished my first year of law school (2 more to go)in Richmond, VA. I need to get my weight under control before I start having health problems from it. My partner (6yrs) is also trying to improve her health, so I've got support at home. Glad to meet everyone!

btw - I grew up in Mobile, AL, not too far from Pensacola & am sad I will miss Memorial Day this year

I'm new again to sparkpeople. Started back in 2007 but stopped for some reason. Long enough to forget my username and password. So, here I am again. I forgot how much I love it and how much it motivates me. My wife of 17 years is concerned about my health as I am with hers. She has many illnesses most of which are chronic. We can do it! Happy Day! From sunny Pensacola

Just signing up to see how this all goes. I'm 30, living in Dallas with my beautiful partner and pooch, turning just another job into a pretty awesome career, and wanting to kick my food addiction. My identity has always been tied up in being the group's fat funny dyke and I think I'm ready to change that. We'll see.
