My name is Andrea. I am 55, have been a member of SparkPeople since last spring (and of this team since last fall), and have lost 71 lbs. I'd like to lose another 10 lbs., but what I'd REALLY like to do is tone up! Even when I was slim and fit, back in my 20s-30s, I always was kinda flabby, especially my legs. I need to incorporate more strength training into my routine. I have some decent cardio equipment and free weights at home and also use the Planet Fitness machines once a week. I don't really know what to DO with free weights, though, beyond a few very basic exercises. I'm also not someone who learns very well by watching videos -- I have to be SHOWN what to do and guided through the movements to ensure that I'm performing them correctly. Anybody here use the PFs in Milford, Middletown, Dover, or even Newark? (I have a Black Card, so I can go anywhere.) I believe that having a buddy would also help keep me accountable and motivated.
