Hey Everyone,

I'm almost 11 years post op. Will be 11 years April 7th. I lose a few and gain them back, and have been doing for years. I have lost 130 pounds, so I'm happy where I am so I'm not really trying to lose any more weight.

The only thing I can suggest is do some upper body exercises if you can't move your legs, or try pool therapy. It's easier on your joints.

Ask your doctor to send you to a nutritionist. They can usually help get you back on track and quit eating junk food if that's a problem.

Take care and join us in the chat. Most questions are answered there. We do most of our talking there too.

It's been 5 years since my GS and I just can't seem tolose any weight at all! Part of my problem, I know, is lack of exercise. I em in a wheelchair, so am sedentary most of the time, I am currently eating 1200 calories per day...60 grams of protein, I am desperate to lose 50 lbs. Any help out there? Thanks SO much!! God bless!
