I agree with what the previous poster said. You have a lot on your plate so it's no wonder you can't find time to take care of yourself. I'd say to ask for some help where you can and let some things slide in order to even take 30 min. a day for yourself. The hubby and kids can hopefully help with some things at home. Good luck to you!

It is said many times that this is not a journey we should travel alone, and you don't have to! I am sorry for all of life's challenges that you are dealing with, but obviously, you are dealing with harder challenges that weight loss. I think if you try to keep it a priority for you, then you will find success. Remember if you don't take care of yourself, you can't take care of others. God bless you on your journey and remember we are here to help you on your journey!

Hi. I am Dunelady. I am reaching out because I know I can't do this alone. Tried multiple times and have discovered that I am extremely successful at my lack of success with sticking to a plan...even when it is working! Life always happens and I get derailed and wind up right back where I started, which is carrying around 40 pounds of pregnancy weight gained with each pregnancy that I never lost. (Totally not an excuse...youngest is 17, so it's not like I haven't had time to lose the weight!). So the life that I keep tripping over? I am the only non autist in the family...Yep, hubby and both kids have high-functioning autism. Hubby had a stroke which has worsened his autism and shredded his memory. So I am the caregiver, the household income, family advisor, etc. Not their fault I gained weight, not autism's fault either...none of them fed me...I did that all by myself. Food is an amazingly simple complicated coping tool! But my health is suffering, and after too many tries to fix this on my own, I thought I would try reaching out. So...think connecting here might make a difference this time?
