You should all be SUPER proud of yourselves. Guess what - it's okay to be proud and it's okay to pat yourself on the back and say "Well done!" Congrats.

I've managed to fight off wild carb cravings today. (My body is officially rebelling against the lack of sugar in my meal plans.)

A coworker brought in a beautiful, homemade apple pie, for everyone to share...and I didn't eat any of it. (But now I worry that her feelings will be hurt.)

Habit is habit and not to be flung out of the window by any man, but coaxed downstairs a step at a time.

Congrats on managing the party food! I have a hard time with that also.

I am excited that I found the time to do 35 minutes of cardio at the gym on Monday and a 30 minute run yesterday. I am always "too busy" to work out, but I am getting creative! I dropped my son off at tball yesterday and ran with another mom during the 30 minute warm up before the game. I plan on doing some strength training after my children go to sleep tonight.

I really enjoy reading about everyone's successes! Please let us know what went well today!

Hey everybody!

Just checking in to see how your plan is working for you today. Does anyone have something they want to celebrate or maybe ask others about?

I'll start...

I went to the gym today and did 30 minutes of cardio even though I woke up feeling overtired and low energy. Also, last night I actually measured out my servings of pizza and cake at my mom's birthday party. I took the time to account for them before hand, so as not to go over my calorie limit for the day. Yay me for that! lol Those happen to be my two biggest trigger foods. I feel like that was huge for me. Not *quite* as much fun as eating as much as I wanted, but I didn't have to regret overeating!

How about you? I want to hear some good news!

I am 5'8" with an athletic build and working hard to make the best of it!
